This extravagant ring outshines even Mariah Carey’s famous sparkler (which is saying something) and boasts a three-tiered diamond design set on golden prongs and a thick gold band. We must admit, the diamonds stack so high they look ready to topple off (fingers crossed Augustus Maywho chose a quality jeweller).

2. Dorey Walker’s engagement ring from Miracle on 34th Street (1994): valued at £49,392

Claiming the second spot on our Christmas jewellery podium is Dorey Walker’s engagement ring from boyfriend Bryan Bedford. This luxurious Cartier piece showcases a square-cut diamond set on a sleek platinum band, earning an impressive five-figure valuation from our experts at £49,392.

3. The Golden Heart necklace from Love Actually: valued at £4,484

Coming in third place is the iconic golden heart necklace purchased by Alan Rickman’s character, Harry, in Love Actually. Initially priced at £270 in the film, the gift features a chunky golden heart charm with a ruby accent, suspended on a gold chain. Since its (heartbreaking) debut on screens in 2003, our experts estimate that this necklace has skyrocketed in value by an astonishing 1,560%, now boasting a shelf price of £4,484 in 2024 (that’s without the wrapping).
